Bute Land-Away for two A unique experience, designed to give two people the experience of flying in both weightshift and three-axis microlights over some of the world's most spectacular coastal scenery. The flights are organised in conjunction with our colleagues at Sportflight Scotland and use their C42 Ikarus - the sportscar of the skies - along with our Pegasus Quantum - the motorbike of the skies. After the initial briefing, one person and their instructor will fly to the Isle of Bute in the light aircraft look-a-like Ikarus while the other flies with their instructor to Bute in the weightshift microlight. Then, after coffee and biscuits, you swap aircraft for the return flight to Strathaven. Each aircraft has a different control system and gives a special way of enjoying the sensation of flight. You'll also have the chance of some air-to-air photographs of each other with some stunning backdrops. Truly, this offers the best of both worlds!
