Scottish Flying Club
THE Scottish Flying Club is a limited partnership which owns and operates Strathaven Airfield.

By law, all microlight flying instruction must be undertaken in association with a club that counts both students and their instructors among its members. But this is not the only role the club plays for pilots in west and central Scotland.

The school and club work together to organise social and educational events, sometimes in conjunction with other flying organisations such as the Strathaven Balloon Festival. Suggestions are very welcome.

There is also an active social side to microlight flying, with regular fly-ins to airfields near and far. For more details see Social Events.
